PoolSolve is a pool chemistry calculator and maintenance log provided by GR Code Labs. It is designed to work without an account and without uploading your pool records to us.
Data you enter
Pool details, water-test readings, chemical additions, target ranges, notes, and reminders are stored locally on your device. We do not receive this pool care data. The app does not provide cloud sync.
When you choose to create a CSV export, JSON backup, or PDF report, the file is generated on your device. It leaves the app only through the destination or person you select in the system share interface.
Diagnostics and analytics
PoolSolve uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand whether core features work and to diagnose crashes. These services may process:
- app interactions, such as completing setup, logging a test, viewing a water plan, or starting a purchase;
- an app-installation identifier;
- device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and general region derived by the service; and
- crash logs, stack traces, and technical diagnostics.
Analytics events do not include your pool name, water readings, chemical amounts, notes, exported files, name, email address, or payment details. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites. PoolSolve does not display ads and uses Analytics configurations without advertising-identifier collection on both Android and iOS.
Google processes Firebase data under its own terms and security practices.
Purchases
The optional lifetime unlock is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. The store may provide the app with a product identifier, transaction identifier, price, currency, purchase status, and receipt needed to grant or restore access. We do not receive your card or bank details.
Portable PoolSolve backups deliberately exclude purchase entitlement. A purchase can only be restored through the store account that owns it.
Permissions
PoolSolve may request notification permission only if you create a maintenance reminder. File and sharing interfaces appear only when you choose to import, export, back up, or share data.
Accounts, advertising, and selling data
PoolSolve has no user accounts, no third-party ads, and no data broker integration. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Your pool care data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Locally exported files remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted there separately. Firebase retains analytics and crash data according to the retention settings of the service. Uninstalling the app removes its local data and installation credentials from that device.
Children
PoolSolve is a household utility for pool owners and is not directed to children under 13.
International users and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. Because we do not have accounts and do not collect your contact details, we may need technical information such as an installation or crash identifier to locate a relevant record.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
